How to keep your cake fresh

Your cake tastes best when handled gently and stored correctly. Keep it level during transport and place it in a refrigerator as soon as possible, unless the product instructions say otherwise.

Before serving, let a cream cake rest at room temperature for a short while so the texture softens. Keep cakes away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, strong odours, and rough handling. Fondant and decorative elements may soften in humidity, so store the cake in a cool, dry place.

Use a clean, sharp knife and wipe it between cuts for neater slices. Consume the cake within the recommended freshness period shown with your order. If the cake arrives damaged or differs materially from what was ordered, photograph it promptly and contact Cake Loom with your order details.
